WalletHub did a great dive into the best cities Monday and ranked them
on a composite score determined by: emotional and physical well-being,
income and employment, and community and environment.
Plano was ranked the happiest city in America in 2019 according to a new
report from personal-finance website WalletHub. In order to determine
its ranking, WalletHub compared more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities
across 31 indicators of happiness, including depression rate,
income-growth rate, and average leisure time spent per day, the
organization said in a news release.
The ranking was determined using data from the U.S. Census Bureau,
Bureau of Labor Statistics, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation,
and Glassdoor.com, among other sources.
